Belle (miniature pincher mix) is a wild and crazy girl but she had nothing but love for people. She was thrown out of a car as a puppy and has some neurological damage. She is anxious around other dogs and would really benefit from a home of her own with few other animals. She likes to play and roll in the grass. She runs and swims but her passion is cuddling. She is a pretty girl with a good heart. Belle is about 3 years old. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She is about 20 pounds. Belle is a faithful pup and she would really make a great companion for anyone, especially an older person. She has amazing hearing and could be a great hearing dog for someone. She is a bit frightened of cats, and I think children would make her nervous. Belle would do well in a quiet home with consistent companionship.

Kip is a 5 year old Chocolate German Shepherd. 55 pounds. He is neutered and up-to-date on his shots. He came from an abusive situation and has anxiety issues. He will need a relatively quiet home with people familiar with sensitive dogs. He is a funny and happy fellow as well. He adores squeak toys and chewing on bones. He is very special and would make a great addition to the right family. Kip loves cats too much and should be in a cat free home. I would assume children may make him nervous. She is very smart and adores to cuddle at night. She is pretty independent, she if feisty still at 11 years old and is not beyond bossing around the other dogs when she needs to! She would really like a home where she can just be and play with a toy. She is not crazy about all the noise at Laughing Dog and we would love to find her a place to call home that is safe and quiet. Hazel (mix breed) is a shy and tiny pup. She is about 4 years old and 15-20 pounds. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She is very meek and mild. She loves making little fortresses out of bedding and hiding…I think because she is often cold. She had a rough start in life but is great now. She loves to lay by your head (again I think to maximize on warmth) and snooze. She is funny and playful. She loves chasing her sister (Mary-Grace) around the yard. She is great with cats and I think she would be okay with kids that were gentle with her. Hazel can be intimidated by bigger dogs and needs a quieter living situation.
